I just got an update from Margaret's sister. She is doing well, thank heavens. She has had all tubes removed except for her IV which is for saline drip. She is feeling much more comfortable and is up and around, and spends time sitting in a chair. Her sister Betsey has been reading these messages to Margaret, and they have been of comfort to Margaret. I haven't heard as to when she will be out, but I would imagine it won't be too long with the progress she has been making.

Margaret had her surgery today at about 8:45. She is in intensive care, but the doctor said that it was normal. She is doing very well. Her sister told me that by this afternoon, she was making her sarcastic remarks, which tells me Margaret is just about back to her old wonderful self. She sounds like she is having more discomfort than pain. So the report is great! Can't wait for her return and her salty remarks in the chatroom!
