7-3-2000 HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! JUST DROPPING A LINE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT AS OF TODAY I AM DOWN BY 68LBS!!!8 WEEKS,3 DAYS POST-OP. MY SHORTS ARE FALLING OFF BUT I'M FEELING GOOD. I WISH EVERYONE THE VERY BEST IN THEIR WLS ADVENTURE!!BIG HUGS

Hello, Just dropping a line to tell everyone how things are going. Monday 5-29 I am 6 weeks post, down by 46Lbs, finnally eating real food, feeling stronger & healther everyday, I feel as the hard part is behind me now, liquids for 6wks was the hardest for me. I can see the weight loss but can't feel it, but I never felt as big as I was. Seeing a picture of myself was very shocking. I do have a 1 month post-op picture that I'm trying to get posted so you can see the differance. Well Good Luck to you all and if I can help in any way please feel free to E-mail me.

Hello All! Today I went to see Dr.Husted About my G-tube & it is infected, so he has put me on med's & haveing me leave the drain bag hooked till Sunday night, then go see him again on Tuesday the 2nd. If it's not better then he said he will run some type of dye test. I really hope all is well and the med's take care of the problem. I can't stand the thought of going through ,more surgey's at this pointe. There is some pain, feels like a cracked rib at times on the left side. Wish me luck!!!

Hello Everyone, just thought I'd drop a line to let you all know whats going on. Today I am 9days post-op and generally feeling pretty good, getting stronger each day but for the last few days I have been running a low fever, nausea with a little pain in left side. I called the doctor today and I will going in tomorrow to see him. They said it's probably an infection. Now I have this to worry about.(go figure) Cross your fingers for me thats it's nothing. I haven't been in chat latly because I have been mentally in rare form and I just don't feel like talking much. But hopfully this will pass soon and I will be in for a chat soon. Thanks to all of you that prayed and thought of me during my time of "passing over".

hello everyone, this is allen beckys hubby, today is the 21st and becky is home, im terribly sorry i missed any of you that called the icu waiting room, things got a little crazy and becky got moved into a room atabout midnite tue nite , and i guess they didnt bother to change her on the board.She is doing fine, tired as you can imagine and in some pain, but other tham that she is ok, and looks forward to being back in chat soon , thanks again for the prayers and support you have given her, dont know when she will feel like being back on the computer, but im sure she is looking forward to it , allen .
