MIke, Im so happy to hear you are home and relxing, I devolped a fever as well... as long as u passed all leak test and u have minimal pain i would think it is just one of those post op things!.. take care of yourself and rest well... I know u are going to do so well with your WL, im doing as im suppose to but we camnt compare ourselves.. keep up the good work!!! May everyday u melt like a candle u shine a little bit brighter... MIKEY!!!! Hope you are feeling better as each day passes....I know I did. I am officially down 20-1/2 ACTUAL pounds from 1 week and 2 days ago!!! WOO HOOO!!!! OMG!! I cant believe this!! Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you...and I cant wait until you are back up and going like the rest of us. ((HUGS)) You BIG LOSER!

~j~ Update ~j~ I went to visit Mikey in the hospital this afternoon and he looks wonderful. He was resting in the recliner and sipping water, using his spirometer and walking every few hours and in good spirits! (which was great to see). Hopefully, Mike can get out of the hospital and home in a day or so, depending on his surgeon. Overall I would say that Mike is progressing nicely and I tried my best to make him laugh a bit. Also, he asked me to say hello to everyone, and thank all the wonderful people who have been supportive during his journey. Rest well Mikey, see you soon! <hugs>

~j~ Mike's angel here ~j~ I just spoke with Mike and he is doing fabulous! His surgery went well and he is in his room resting (in a private room no less, and I am so jealous!!!). He is experiencing some soreness, pain and discomfort (as well as some nausea from the morphine), but otherwise he is very good and very glad to be on the otherside! Also he is up and walking every 2 hours, which as us LAP patients know, helps alot with the gas. Mike is not feeling hungry, isn't that outstanding!?! YAY! I will be going to visit Mike tomorrow afternoon, and will update then to let everyone know how his leak test went, etc. Rest well and get well soon Mikey! <hugs>
