hi all!! good news!! Sheila is home!! I just talked to mom..she's a little weepy but that's to be expected after all she has gone thru and coming home after almost two weeks. I am going there tomorrow to help clean her house and visit so i'll keep u posted. Thanks!!

Hi Stephanie here again..i just talked to Sheila on the phone!!! Boy does she sound like her oldself. Im going up around 3 when my son gets off work...Her white count is normal...maybe even talking about discharge...MAYBE...which is a terrific sign!! She has sure gone thru alot and lets hope this is all behind her now. I want to thank her friends, doctor and nurses who were all behind sheila. Thanks again...i will keep u updated as soon as i know more :) Stephanie

hi stephanie here again... sorry i haven't been real faithful the last two days....my keyboard broke and my computer is a very slow computer. Sheila is still in Sioux Valley...she is running a fever about 100, is very restless and they are starting food supplements again. She had some xrays taken this morning and is still having problems getting a good sleep. I will head up their in the morning to see her and let everyone know more then. Thanks...:)

hi Stephanie here again :) i felt really guilty about not posting yesterday but the day before i was not feeling good so i didn't want to bring it to Sheila :) and yesterday i cleaned my moms. Ne way...No leakage today as far as i know :) Mike checked it and it was empty so that is good. Sheila had a rough night because of bad gas pains (wish i had another way to put that lol) So she didn't get much sleep and is hard for her to find a comfortable way to lay. She walked her four times already by 1pm this afternoon and she had a shot for pain and was dozing off when i left her at 1:40. She is back on liquids again...started again this am. So...thanks again for all your support and friendship!!! Have a great day :)

Sheila, I hear Dr. O'Brien took you off liquids today, as you are seeping some bile. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully this will work itself out in a day or so, and things will be on the upswing again. Hang in there; we're all praying for you and wishing you well again.

Hi is me stephanie with a quick update. I was unable to get to the hospital today due to not feeling well and didn't want to risk sheila getting whatever this is. But i talked a little to her and to mom...another little setback today :( Dr. removed her from her liquids....she is seeping bile into the bag that is attached to her stomach. Right now they don't know where it is coming from but the dr is watching very carefully. She is running a small fever as well. For all those contemplating this surgery plz don't let what happened to Sheila discourage you :) From what mom told me she is very susceptible to infections..and this was very unfortunate :( So im asking again for you all to keep sheila in your prayers...we sure don't need her to undergo a third surgery. She said she couldn't take ne more now. :( So Thank you all again...u r great!!!
