"I have Dr. Sorenson in Flint, Michigan, but his first name is Victor, (I think!) He is new to making bariatric surgery his specialty but he has been a truama surgeon before now. Because of my high BMI, I find that reassuring because he has dealt with a lot of heart and lung emergencies, I would think. He is also part of a larger hospital program including dietitians and support groups. I like the idea of Hurley Medical Center because it is a regional trauma hospital. I've only been to their center once but I was really pleased with their efficiency and low-key friendliness.
