Nov. 8, 2002 Hi Everyone. I am almost 4 weeks post op and am feeling very good. I have lost 27 pounds and am very pleased with my results. I do miss food but that is getting easier everyday. Get sick a few times and you know what I mean. My energy is unbelievable. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I guess it has. I hope everyone is doing great and I thank you all for you kind thoughts and prayers. Take care and I will continue to update. See ya. Anne Pullin

I just got off the phone with Anne. She is in critical care which is where her doctor puts all his patients I believe. She said her surgeon said everything went fine but she is in a lot of pain. She doesn't feel the pump is taking care of it so I told her to make sure and tell them that she didn't feel that her pain level was under control. She is also itching quite a bit so I suggested she ask for something for that too. I remember that the itch drove me up a wall after my surgery. So everyone please pray that she continues to recover well and that her pain is brought under control. Thanks so much. Carrie

Oct.13, 2002- Well tomorrow's the big day. I am so nervous but I just got off the phone with Carrie Davis and she helped me out alot. Thanks a million Carrie. Thanks everyone for all your support and I talk to you all soon. Thanks Anne

Hi everyone Anne is having her surgery tommorow morning. She is having the lap RNY. Please post your well wishes to her if you have not already and remember her in your prayers tonight and tommorow for a safe and uneventful surgery and an easy recovery. I will post an update on Anne after surgery. Anne you are going to do great and be fine. After you get recovered enough you and I will have to get together and walk. :) Carrie Davis

Anne, Best of wishes to you on crossing to the other side. Getting those "ducks" in a row sure makes life easier as you recoup at home. It is amazing as Mothers and caregivers how much we give to others..After surgery they might have to find some new independence as you will find yourself out doing things that you didn't know were possible.
