"I thought he was nice enough, I only saw him one time on November 1st. He was very thorough in going over the risks associated the bypass surgery. His office staff was very nice. 1/7 well I was finally approved for surgery after a denial. Geri the scheduler was very nice to me and helpful with answering my questions . Dr.Batty did send in a letter for the appeal. My surgery date is Feb. 7th 2003. 1/22/03 I talked to Dr. Batty today, he called me in response to some questions I had. He was very nice, and he answered all of my questions. I felt so much better after talking to him. I guess I am getting a little nervous, my surgery is only 16 days away.By the way his office staff is so nice about giving him messages, they don't ever sound annoyed. After talking to him, I feel confident about him doing my surgery. 2/20 Well I had my first post op visit with Dr.Batty on the 18th, he was soooooo nice, I feel very comfortable with him. He answered all my questions, and did not rush me in any way at all. I feel great so far, and am healing up well. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to have WLS. . . . He was very thorough about the risks Too early to tell "
