"I like the hospital as a whole, but they are very understaffed and that leads to poor job performence from the nurses and CNA's. The didn't seem to have the time ever to hear my needs as to pain, etc. or find out details for me. A lot of the time I was brushed off or snapped at. It was a hard stay for me. Hopefully someone else's experience will be completely better than mine. "
"Dr. LeSage seemed to be very knowledgable and confident. He did an overall examination, and than sat and explained the whole procedure to me. He didn't seem rushed, and was willing to answer any questions that I might have. He was kind and sensitive, and explained in great detail the risks of the proceedure and the methods that he would use to prevent these risks, which was important to me. He explained that Dr Ryder and himself would be doing the surgery, and that they use the same surgical team for every WLS procedure. I found that to be reassuring. I also like that his aftercare program is so involved. I will be monitored closely by Dr. LeSage after the surgery, as well as by my nutritionist. His nurse, Pam is great. She takes care of all insurance needs and any questions that you might have. So far I would rate Dr. LeSage and his staff a 10. "
"She was very kind to me and tried to make my experience at the sleep center as good as it could be, although I had a hard time sleeping away from home."
