Missy, Congratulations on your successful surgery! Wishing you the VERY best throughout the rest of your journey...this is the exciting part of it...when the pounds start dropping off.
Here I am! I am officially a loser! Surgery was at 7:00 on Friday morning with no complications. I had to stay in recovery for 8 hours until they got a room for me. Dr. Needleman sent me home yesterday (Sunday) at 3:00 pm. My bedroom is upstairs and I cannot get up there so I had a hospital bed delivered today. Maybe I will get a good night sleep tonight. I want to thank you all for remembering me in your prayers. It was the support from all of you that got me through! One question - How/when do you all have a bowel movement? I have bowel sounds but that is it. Help!?!
Best wishes to you for an uneventful surgery and a recovery thats as quick and painfree as possible. This quote is from a book my grandmother gave me before she passed away. It was one of her favorites.(Kahil Gibran) "But if in your thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, and let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing"
Hey Missy, have you ever been so thankful for ice chips? Hope your stay is as comfortable as possible and you get to come home on schedule. Welcome to the other side!
Yipppeee!! You made it to the other side. You are an inspiration to me. Hope you are up walking and walking and walking! May you have a speedy and complication free recovery.
Congratulations. The worst is over. Now all you have to do is recover and I will pray for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery. You made it to the losing side.
