Hi Cheryl, Congrats. I'm dong much better, my staples came out July 6th (yesterday). It sounds like you are doing great. (happy dance) for you.

Hi! It's me. I am doing great. My staples cmae out on June 19th. And I was down 12lbs.! My incision is healing nicely and so far I have no problems with food. I have been walking and lifting hand wweights for my arms. I still tire easily. But I feel great!

My surgery went fine. I was not prepared for the size of the incision though. My gallbladder and appendix were removed. All my nurses were great. I was taken really good care of. My pain after surgery was not at all bad as I thought it would be. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. I was on a liquid diet for 3 days and then advanced to pureed foods. I am getting around fairly good. But I am sore amd I tire very easily. Each day I am gaining.

Cheryl, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
