This is such an emotional journey anyway, but I know your 1 yr anniversary hits you hard because your life has changed so much in that one year.....so much so that I'm sure it seems like a dream sometimes. Michelle - it's been one year for me too on 24 Oct and I feel like crying too and I've done real well (142 lbs lost or maybe even more since I go to the doctor tomorrow for a weighin. You must be glad you have done this! congratulations from a gal in Ohio.

I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS WITH MICHELLE FOR YEARS.I WAS CONSIDERING THIS SURGERY AS WELL,BUT AFTER TALKING WITH HER I HAVE DECIDED NOT TOO.SHE STILL HAS A HARD TIME AND HER ENERGY LEVELS AREN'T UP TO PAR.I BELIEVE HER WHEN SHE TOLD ME THIS WAS SOMETHING SHE WISHED SHE HADN'T DONE.ALTHOUGH IT MAY WORK FOR OTHERS;I HAVE CONCLUDED IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE.IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS WENT THROUGH THIS AND YOU ARE CONSIDERING IT;LISTEN TO YOUR FRIEND.SHE KNOWS BEST AND I FEEL SHE SAVED ME FROM GOING THROUGH SOMETHING THAT MAY HAVE DONE MORE HARM THAN GOOD.I WISH YOU THE BEST MICHELLE!! Everyone keep Michelle in your prayers, she is having a very hard time keeping anything down and the Dr says that if she isn't better by monday then she will have to go back in the hospital. Please say some special prayers for her.
