Dear Kiva, I know it's easy to say..but try not to put pressure on yourself...this surgery will give you the tool you need to succeed. Take each day at a time. The weight will come off and each day you will find that you will be able to do something that you had not been able to do when you were heavier. I have lost 170 pounds, my BMI was 62. I, as all of us do understand what you are going through. My prayers and thoughts are with you for a successfull and easy surgery with a speedy recovery. G-d Bless you and know you are in my prayers. Hi Kiva! Just wanted to wish you luck on your journey. I felt most of the same things you felt when I first started going thru my journey. I have 3 boys, ages 13,11, and 3. I didnt want to leave them motherless, but I also didnt want to have them growing up not being able to do anything with me because of my weight. I know I made the right decision. And you will too.
