Brandt Lapschies
"Dr. Lapschies made me very comfortable right away. He is easy to talk to. Over time, I feel like he has become a partner to me in all of this.I can ask him anything, he has never made me feel like I'm asking a stupid question. He is very thorough in explaining & makes it a point to make sure you understand exactly what he means. His office staff, especially his nurse Myrna, are all wonderful. The only complaint I have about Dr. Lapschies is that he is so BUSY! It's hard to get an appointment for consult, & the waiting time to see him once you get in is long (for all appts). He really emphasizes aftercare & expects compliance after surgery as far as re-checks, nutrition, & exercise. I really liked the fact that right up front he told me that this surgery is a tool, not a cure, that the success is up to me by complying. As far as risks, Dr. Lapschies did go over them & made me take a test to make sure I clearly understood ALL the risks before he even scheduled surgery. Overall, I think that he is excellent. I am happy that I chose him. "
