3/19/02: I just heard from Lori's husband, my brother, Craig! It's 3:38 pm, Lori is about half- way through surgery. She is reported to have gone in with good spirits! YAY Lori! We're pullin' for ya, babe!

Lori, I'm wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely No regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can say, without a doubt, that it is the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.
