Donna, I was so glad to see your post when reading the message board today. I sent you an email card, but it came back refused. Good to hear you are doing well. OH, I got a date~~~June 5, Wednesday.

I am not Donna's angel, but I saw her today and wanted to tell everyone that your prayers, thoughts and good wishes have worked for Donna so far. She is doing great! What a trooper! It was hard to believe that she just had major surgery. She has been up walking around and doing everything she's supposed to do. When I arrived today, she was sitting in a chair doing her breathing exercises. Then up moving around the room. Amazing! Tomorrow she will be leaving the hospital and will be staying in the hospitality house across the street for a few days before she goes back home. (Her surgery was in Texas and she lives in Oklahoma) Today was the first time I have met Donna and she has the sweetest voice and manner. Her husband has been with her and its obvious they are a very happy couple. She did tell me to be sure I have tried everything possible to lose weight before I decide surgery is what I want..lol. Today was one of her better days she told me. We had a very nice visit. She filled me in on what I need to expect. I feel like I have made a new friend. She is really a sweetheart!

Donna: Sorry I haven't been in touch ... computer has had a virus and I didn't want to spread it!! Congratulations on crossing over to the losing side. KT told me you had a date ... can't believe it is here already! Hope this finds you feeling better each day and well on the way to a healthier, thinner life. I talked to Donna this am and she is doing well. She is a little out of it still, but sounds really good. She had her surgery yesterday. I tried to get ahold of her then, but the hospital couldn't find her! Found out she was waiting for a room till last nite and was in a "holding room" until late last nite. She says everything went well so far. I am going to visit her tomorrow.
