"My first impression of Dr. Richman was good. He was kind and took his time with me. I had a list of questions and when he was done with what he had I was able to ask away and he did not make me feel rushed. His nurse was seemed very nice for what time I was with her. I can't think of anything I didn't like about him. He really went over the risks of surgery to make sure that I really understood them and that I was okay with everything. The only thing that I would have liked more would have been to the procedure done as a lap instead of open, but he is not comfortable to do it that way and I was glad that he was open to talking about that. He advised me that if for any reason I was not comfortable with the procedure that I should hold off on the surgery until I was totally sure one way or the other, which I am totally sure about going forward. Overall I liked the he spent the time to explain the procedure, after care, risks and benefits. I would hope that everyone would have the same experience. "
