Mary, Best of wishes to you as you complete all the "stuff" needed for surgery. Your getting close to the big day now. Get out of bed as soon as you are allowed and learn the hospital race track! Walking will make the soreness dispiate and you will be on your way to being a loser!! KimmieTN

Thank you all for your support! As my date draws closer, I am getting more nervous and have many doctor visits and tests to go to. I have seen the psychiatrist (all systems go), cardiologist ( ordered an echocariogram and a stress test- ugh), and still have the pulmonologist to go ( 9/17 )- not to mention my preops on the 25th and my PCP appt. on the 26th. Busy busy busy! I had the stress test today- no treadmill- just some nuclear isotopes, and injection to make my heart race, an EKG, and then more isotopes. A totally bizzare experience. Will keep you posted! Hugz!

I wanted to wish you a quick and easy recovery after your surgery. I am having WLS the same day as you, Oct 7th can't get here soon enough can it? In just a few weeks we'll be on the losing side! I will keep you in my prayers. Just remember this thought after surgery: NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING THIN FEELS!!!
