Pam, Welcome to our great Amos sight. You will be able to find answers to all your questions and feel very comfortable with all the wonderful people on this site. I live in Columbus, and am 6 weeks post op, open RNY. I had my surgery done at OSU. I know what you mean about BTC. I have a friend that just had hers done at Mt.Carmel. Congratulations on getting your surgery date! I welcome you to the AMOS family. Post often, its great. Can you go to a support meeting for wls? My husband felt much better after going to one and hearing everyone and getting his questions answered.Listening to postops ans some preops was great. Does your Dr have such a program or the local hospital? I would go to one even if another Dr ran it, just to learn. Take care. Leslie Elwood
