"I saw Dr. Hornbostel for the first time at one of his pre-op seminars. He seemed so down to earth and friendly, but when he started speaking about the procedure, you could tell, that he knew what he was doing. I only saw him one more time before I had surgery. I saw him at his office. He explained the surgery again, and was very polite and knowledgeable. I then saw him after surgery while I was still in the hospital. He is a man of few words though, when talking face-to-face, have questions ready for him. His office staff was efficient, but not overly friendly. All in all, Dr. Hornbostel is an excellent surgeon, and a nice man. I would rate him a 10 out of 10. The only thing, that was kind of confusing, was how to eat after surgery. I was given 3 different papers to follow, all of which were different. I finally followed the paperwork from the dietician. I am going to ask Dr. Hornbostel about this at my first post-op appointment. "
