"I had my consultation with Dr. Martin on 8-4-04 and it was great. he is a very pleasant man and very easy to talk with. He instantly put me at ease and has a nice british accent. He indicated that we could get the surgery done as soon as I get back from a trip I had planned. It was true. My surgery is scheduled 2 days after I get back. Actually the whole staff in his office is very nice. The insurance lady, Heidi, is so nice and always returns calls promptly (which is a nice change from the other surgeons office I started out at. would recommend Dr. Martin to anyone considering having this surgery. He really explains all the risks as well as the benefits. Although the group of doctors he is associated with charges a $500 fee that is not covered by insurance, it is worth it. ALL of your post op appointments for 1 year are covered with that fee and you get so many cool things with it. The only negative thing I can say is the $500 fee. I wish I didn't have to pay it, but it should be worth it."
