Laurence Tanaka
"I was told that Dr Tanaka was very stern and serious but I was very pleasantly surprized when I met him. He joked practically the whole time I was with him, admittedly with a straight face but he was fun. There have been a lot of changes recently at PB but I have finally been assigned the nicest patient co-ordinator, Lauren, she is always friendly and helpful and tries her best to let me know what is happening. Sometimes things are not within her control though. Dr Tanaka's nurse was very friendly and kind. Dr Tanaka was very clear that he expects his patients to strictly adhere to his aftercare program... to the letter. He didnt really go into great depth about the risks of surgery, he went through them quickly but I guess he must know that we have all spent weeks researching this anyway. I am very confident that Dr Tanaka will be performing my surgery. People say that his bedside manner is not the greatest, I am more interested in his surgery table skills."
