Hello everyone: I'm not exactly Audrey's angel since I never asked her if I could have that honor, but I was with her before going in for surgery and after. Let me say, she sure is a strong woman!!! Her surgery was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. yesterday but when she got to the hospital, she was told it had been pushed back to 1:00. At 3:00, they finally took her down to the OR. The surgrey took only about 1 1/2 hours and when we finally got to see her, she looked GREAT!!! She said she had just crampy feelings and said that when she woke up, she wasn't even sure they had actually even performed the surgery. Wow, what a trooper! The thing she said was the worse was getting the IV put in! Today she looks wonderful and is feeling great. They had her up walking and she did fantastic. Lord, please let me be half as brave as she is!

Congratulations on this stage in your journey. You may think its over, but it has just begun. Good luck on your new life. When you wake up, you will be on the other side of the divide and have boundless opportunity awaiting you. It's up to you. I know you will make the best of it!. Bobbi

Good luck on your surgery! You will be in my prayers. Just remember the reasons that you are doing this. YOU CAN DO IT! I hope that your surgery is uneventful and that you have a speedy recovery!

Audrey, Best wishes to you on 10/23. May all go well. I will be having surgery the same day (hopefully). My surgery was set for 10/11 but was cancelled. A big disappointment.
