"It needs to understand more about what is needed after gastric surgery. I was give orange juice the day after RNY and they had no sugar free products. It was very hard to deal with. I had to just eat ice, and drink my broth."

Richard Thirlby

"Dr. Thirlby was very nice. He doesn't believe in a phyc-evaluation or does he do much as far as an exam the first visit. I found him to be real easy to talk with and he answered all my questions where I could understand them without feeling as if he was condesending. I would reccomend him.My only problem is he doesn't have any support groups or structured aftercare program. It took six months for my first visit and he says it will be another five months for me to have the surgery. Because of the lack of support I am helping to start a Seattle based support group. For more information please contact me. Dr. Thirlby did a fantastic job with my surgery. I would reccomend him. He great. "

Dan Downey

"He does not believe in combining surgeries. He wanted to do four different surgies for all my lifts. I though this was excessive. Most surgeons that I talked with would do it in two procedures. The tummy and thighs in one and the breast and arms in another. I thought he was very knowledgable, but I am not sure if I will use him or not."

Sepehr Egrari

"He seemed expensive to me, but from the after pictures he is a real artist. I have heard nothing negative about him, and he is willing to speak at our support group meetings."
