Dear Deborah...I am so sorry to hear of the loss in your family, but I wanted to reassure you that once you made your decision not to go you should just rest in that. Don't feel guilty. Right now it is okay to be focused on yourself because you are facing alot. Think positive, rest and trust God for everything.
