"9-20-01 My husband and I met with the surgon that I have decide to have do my surgery, Dr. John Husted,in Nashville,TN. We went to his very helpful seminar in the morning and I met with him in the afternoon. I was very happy to be able to have both apt. on the same day because it is a two hour drive.Thanks Janet! Dr. Husted and Nurse Jamie sure lived up to their wonderful reputation!!They were both were pleasant and helpful. Dr. H was like talking to your old friend,a very real person!! Loved that he didn't push one procedure more than one,it was totally up to me.I decided on the gastric by-pass with fobi pouch. He was happy to expain risks and complications with us and even told us how many deaths he personly had.I know that probly sounds ugly, but face it we all want to know this kind of info."
