My surgery went very well. I am now 6 days post-op and things are going quite well. Dr. Fallang is a wonderful surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this surgery. I was released from the hospital on the second day and I was able to get up and walk within a couple hours of surgery. The pain is quite bad the first couple days, but the nurses kept me quite comfortable. Middletown Regional Hospital was a very nice place to have the surgery. The nurses were very caring and willing to share any information they had on this procedure. My only want at this point is to be able to sleep in my bed again. I am now sleeping in a recliner since it hurts to lay flat. I am sure this will come soon. I can already tell I have lost weight. What a joyous feeling to lose instead of gain. Thanks to everyone for your emails and many prayers. It really means alot to hear from people who have been through the surgery when you are waiting to have it.

My day is Monday also....would love to hear from you after we are both on the "other side" to compare notes.....here's to a speedy recovery...good luck!

Brenda....I pray that God's Blessings will be with you on your new journey Monday and I hope you have a speedy recovery and a New Wonderful Happy Life....Im sorry about your Insurance I thought I was going to have problems too but ended up with every thing being approve and I thank God for that......
