Hi Sheila, I will keep you in my prayers, Sweetie, that you will have peace in your heart and mind!!! I know it will be fine, so you have to let your father know you'd feel better if he weren't there with you!! If you hurt his feelings, he will live!! You know, we parents are just human too!!! I have 2 daughters that are going to be having WLS, one next Monday, and I just had mine 2 weeks ago. So I am on both sides of this coin....I didn't tell my 80 y/o Mom, till after I was home from the hospital....I had mentioned it back in November, but she started talking it down, so I just dropped the subject and so did she!!! She seems supportive now that she sees I *survived* the actual surgery!! Maybe you should tell your Dad your surgery date has been changed, but then really go thru with the one you already have scheduled!!! I know this hard, but I know it is worth traveling thru!!! You take care and keep us posted as to how things are going!!! If you'd like an Angel, let me know....I'm not the best, but I try!!! God Bless!! Love,
