Dusty, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Hi Dusty, best wishes with your surgery, you won't regret it! Dr. Estakhri did my open RNY on 6/21/01 and I am doing great. She is an amazing surgeon and you are in the best hands possible. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
