Hi all, I am HOME, and my, it feels GREAT!I can only hang here for a few moments as I still have a bit of dizziness...no, I'm a redhead! I will try to express my thanks (when I'm feeling a bit more energetic)in personal notes to all who have been rooting for me and my hubby! I wanted to expressly thank 2 very special angels! Ava, your calls truly encouraged Darrell ...and me once I was awake! Thank you for helping keep tabs on my progress.What a SWEETIE! And I am so privelged to have, not one, but 2 angels looking over us! MaryBeth, you "covered my a.." in posting, talking Darrell thru, and that wonderful robe so no one had to see my booty:) We certainly LOVED meeting you and hope to keep up with your friendshaip. So, Please lets say an extra special thought in our payers to thank selfless people such as MaryBeth and AvaLee for looking out for us when we are asleep or down! I LOVE you!!!! Gonna go rest. I will try to catch up personal e-mails soon! You are all in my mending heart!!!

YAY! I just talked to Christine and she is waiting for her discharge papers to be completed and she will be on her way home today!! She sounds great! Please keep her in your healing thoughts this week as she adjusts to being home after surgery.

Well I was out and about tonight, but when I came home, guess who's bubbly postop voice I heard on my answering machine? Yes! You are correct- Christine Stone took the time out of her busy hospital schedule and called me in between her walks. I was so bummed to have missed her call being as I have been calling her and catching her at bad times, but I will call her back tomorrow! She sounds maaaarrrvvveeellloussss! I think our Christine is on her way to complete recovery and weightloss:) Keep on keeping on Christine!!!

Christine, What a cute girl - I know you're in pain right now, but I want to wish you good luck with your recovery and your journey on the other side. You gotta get well soon so you can get back to singing karaoke. My surgery will be after yours on Oct. 31, soooo I look forward to keeping up with your progress on the message board. God bless you.

I spoke with Darrell this morning and he says Christine is looking and behaving more like herself. She still is in LaLa land with morphine, but has been eating jello and broth. He said she still feels weird and uncertain about how things should feel, but since she has never had surgery, I told him that is probably normal:) She seems to be right on track so keep those warm fuzzy thoughts and paryers going on for our friend!!!
