Barix Clinics (NW Suburban Com. Hospital)

"My general thought about this hospital was that it was so small given the amount of surgerys they do in a day. My experiance with the staff was great. They were all so nice and willing to go out of their way to make you comfortable. I did have a problem with one of the lab techs. For my pre admittance testing she poked me about 5 times to find a vein...No one has ever had a problem finding a vein on me. Then again after the surgery, she came into my room at about 6 am wanting blood. Again she couldn't find a vein after tring about 5 times in both arms. She then resorted to poking my fingers and getting drops of bloods from my fingers for about 4 vials. Needless to say, About 2 hours later a different lab tech came in and said they didn't get enough blood. She poked me once and got all the blood she needed. so the was the only bad experiance I had at this hospital. Over all I had a wonderful experiance at Northwest suburban comunity hospital. "

Brian Boe

"My first impression of Dr. Boe was WOW he is so young. When I went in for my consultation(September 11th of all days)I wasn't sure if this was something that was right for me. By the time I left I knew that this was what I needed to do for myself and my family. Dr. Boe was very thorough in his answers to my questions and made sure I understood all aspects of this surgery. He was also very kind and managed to crack a few jokes to boot. I think he knew how nervous I was. It sounds like BTC has a structured after care program. Dr. Boe explained that there would be several follow-up appointment. He also explained all the risks very thoroughly and made sure I understood the risks also. Overall, I would so far rate him as a great, competent surgeon. I feel very comfortable allowing him to do my surgery. "
