"I started out with Tom Eubaks DO as my surgeon but I have changed my mind due to some trust issues with him and his staff. I guess it suffice it to say that he needs better organization of the pre-op portion of his program and needs to establish an aftercare program. SOOOOO...............!
I have decided to use Eric Friedman MD at Providence Portland to do my surgery. He is not a total bariatric surgeon. He does other general and vascular surgeries also. He has been doing WLS for 3 years. I think he does LAPs but in my case I feel he will opt for an open approach since I have had so many surgeries before and a gastric stapling. I will have my consult on July 17th. He has impressed so far, by answering my email promptly even when I was not his patient. I happened to have found his email address on this site and decided to ask if it were possible to get in before Nov. which is when his next consult was available. I gave him my life in a nutshell and he wrote baack and said to call the office and tell them to try and move my appt up. I did and they gave me a July appt. I was an angel for one of the ladies on this sigth and she had him for her surgery and is pleased with his work, so I'll tell you more after the 17th. "
