September 23rd Dear Briana: First of congradulations on your decision and courage to have wls. I had my surgery about five weeks ago and I'm so glad I went through with it! It was not an easy road to take, but it is one that can be accomplished. After your surgery you will be learning new things about yourself/body that you didn't know existed. The first few weeks is really different because your mind still thinks in the food addiction realm, but your body doesn't agree. Soon enough they come together and everything really starts working great. I hope that all made some sense, if not now, it will after the surgery. I hope this surgery lets you reach all the dreams you're having concerning you 'new body'. Please feel free to contact me for additional support if you feel it's needed. Sincerely, Lori Ann
