Myriam Curet

"My first impression was she was nice, but rushed. She scared me a little by threating to cancel my surgery date if I didn't loose weight. I was so relieved when my preop appt was with someone other than her. Everyone in the office was exceptionally friendly and helpful not once did I feel inferior in any way. There was nothing I did not like about Dr.Curet. They say she is the best there is what more can you ask for I don't want her to be my shopping buddy, just an awesome surgeon which in my case she has turned out to be! The after care is very much emphasized but I already knew my life would change drastically. And believe me One week out it already has! All risks were explained and she left me with no questions left unanswered. I would rate Dr. Curet a 10 To me Surgical competence and a little bedside manner is the perfect combo! I have read other reviews of her that don't compare to the way I was treated, but that could be because of personalities or her view of our lack of dedication to what she is trying to help us accomplish. Definately don't rule her out because of a bad review. If you want to be catered to don't expect it...if you want a successful surgery she is the one I would reccomend!"

Stanford University Medical Center

"I thought it was wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about my care. The only thing I though should probably be different is the type of patients they put together in rooms. My roomate was a Kidney transplant patient and very hight maintenence she was very demanding on the nurses and therefore was somewhat of a bother to me. She even complained and got my husband kicked out just 10 minutes after visiting hours. We were making absolutely no noise we were watching Survivor in between my naps! Other than that from start to finish the hospital was better than I could have imagined!"
