Angel Report of sorts! ^j^ Spoke with Sharon at home yesterday,she couldn't talk for long but she said all is well and she is glad to be home.Angel Hugs ^j^ Patricia L

^j^ Angel Report coming in!!! Just spoke with Sharon,She sounds like her self again.She had her swallow test at 1pm and said the stuff was awful, but you didn't have to drink much.passed with flying colors, is now in her room taking fluids as ordered.She said She thought Dr Brathwaite lived at the hospital as he was there 3x yesterday and the surgical staff was wonderful. She is probably going home tomorrow morning ,she has her dietary instuctions for the first week.and is very optimistic.Her sister Lynne had her surgery today in New Jersey and is out of surgery and doing well,Now as Lynne said they can start their lives as the " Svelte Sisters".Way to go Sharon and Lynne. Sharon's Angel Reporting! I spoke with her today.She has the NGT out and was very sleepy,Her throat and mouth are dry,nothing to drink until the swallow test tomorrow,other than that sheis using her morphine and said everything went very well as far as the surgery.I am not going up to see her tonight as I am not feeling well and don't want to pass anything along to her. That is all she needs.She said all she is doing is sleeping anyway, and expects to go home Saturday. I will call her again tonight. Please remember her sister Lynne in your prayers, she is having the surgery in the am in New Jersey.Angel Hugs Patricia L (:0

Hi Angel report coming in !!! Got a call from Sharon's sister,she is FINALLY in her room.there was some delay because the room wasn't ready or whatever, according to he Nurse on the 18th floor where Sharon's room is.Sharon's sister spoke with her and she is very groggy(Naturally) She is resting and so far so good.I will try to go up and see her tomorrow evening; Angel Hugs,Patricia L (:0

Sharon's Angel Reporting! (Although her page says she doesn't have one,she does and it is me!) I called the Hospital at 2pm EST and they said she was in recovery,they wouldn't allow me to speak with a Nurse because I wasn't a family member.I called her Sister Lynne @ work and didn't reach her but left a message, ( Lynne is having the surgery Friday in New Jersey)To tell her Sharon was in recovery, if she hadn't heard yet,we promised to call or e-mail each other with any information we each got that the other may not have. Lynne called me at 5pm and said the Nurse from recovery told her Sharon is going to her room in a few minutes.I will call later and maybe speak with her friend who is staying with her if she isn't up to it,So far so good!Please stop by her site and wish her a speedy recovery. Putting on my Angel wings! I called the Hospital at 11am. Sharon is still in sugery,they wouldn't tell me if she went in on time,which was 7:30am.She is also having her gallbladder taken out and a possible hernia repair,so Dr Brathwaite told her it will probably be a six hr surgery,I will call this after noon and check on her status and will update,All the best to those in surgery at this time Angel Hugs:(:0
