Congratulations Fellow 3rd Anniversary Celebrator!!! If you are like me, time has just flown by and I have been so busy living life instead of worrying about just surviving that I completely forgot about my anniversary. It's hard to believe that 3 years have passed by. I hope you are doing well and are enjoying all that life has to offer. Peace!!!

I went in today for all my pre-op work and while I was there I went to visit with Tonia. She is 4 days post op and doing well. She had some problems with her breathing and oxygen levels and had to spend a few extra days in ICU on a ventilator. She is out on the floor now and was happy to score a private room : ) Even with a few setbacks she is happy that she proceeded with the surgery. She commented that she was not the least bit interested in eating. She was sure by now that she would be starving. Hopefully she will be released home this weekend. Tonia, I am so thrilled that your date was moved up. Disappointed for me because now I will have to find a new walking partner at the hospital. I will be thinking of you tomorrow and keeping you in my prayers.

I will be having my surgery tomorrow also. I'm not nervous yet! I am very confident with the surgeon and the outcome that comes with the surgery. I guess my thoughts are "don't worry be happy" just like the song says, try humming it on the way to surgery you can't help but smile. Just think we will wake up tomorrow in pain but also on a journey to a thinner, healthier life. Let us know how you did.

I just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world on your surgery. I will also be praying for you a safe and speedy recovery. I had surgery on May 15th and it is the most wonderful thing I have ever done for myself! I am sure you will think so too when it is all said and done! God Bless you!
