Edward Waits
"I was very uncertain about having WLS, when I made my first appointment to meet with Dr Waits. I only made the appointment after having my Psychiatrist telling me that if I did not have some type of intervention, I probably would not be living in a few more years. However after meeting with Dr Waits I knew that this was the right thing to do. I was impressed with his level of knowledge. He took his time explaining the different procedures, the history of WLS & the risks of the surgery to me and my family. Taking special care to be sure above everyone else there that I fully understood what he was saying. He explained how this was not a quick fix, but a tool to assist you in your weight control. I feel that he has a true genuine concern for each one of his patients, which made me feel REALLY SPECIAL. It was like "WOW" finally a doctor who not only understands my weight problems, but also cares!! My husband, sister, & daughter went with me to my consult with Dr Waits, they all thought very highly of him as well. I would rate Dr Waits a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. I feel that competence, as well as bedside manner are both equaling important. "
