Amanda, Here's wishing you a fast and speedy recovery!! I lay in bed at night thinking about my surgery and a big smile comes across my face! I know damn well I am extremely lucky to have my surgery done. Compared to alot of people my approval came pretty easy with the help of my compassionate PcP!! I had open RNY distal 17 weeks ago. Iam 5'7 like you and have lost 65 lbs. Unoffically I lost 74lbs from my highest weight of 292. I have no REGRETS and like everyone else, I wish I could have done this a long time ago.
