Hi Deborah, I am Linda from Indiana and just had lap RNY on 10/17/03. I'm also 57 and this was more for health than look reasons. Diabetic and High BP. My doc took me off my diabetic meds and bp meds and I am down 5 pills. Monday I go back for my second post op. I feel good. I started driving locally a little and went into a store today.
