"I have not actual scheduled my surgery, you don't have a proper category for where I am at. I have been approved by my insurance and have started the pre-op testing, and plan to have my surgery in June 2003 (I will probably be ready for surgery in February, but plan to wait). I have only met with the Nurse Practioner as yet. I found the staff and the Nurse Practioner to be very professional, friendly, and attentive. The doctor I selected is Dr. Stanley Klein in Torrance, California. He has his own web page - kleintyme.com on WLS. He also has monthly support group meetings of which I plan to attend prior to my surgery and after my surgery. I have met a couple of people who have had WLS with Dr. Klein and they can do nothing but rave about the whole experience."
