"Dr. Spaulding is about the nicest person I have ever met. She is so very kind and understanding and really cares about me. Her and her staff have helped me out a great deal. No question is a dumb question. I would recommend her to anyone. The only problem is getting appointments. She is so very busy and so it takes a long time for your first appointment and for your surgery date...but I understand why too! She is the only surgeon in this area. The other thing I would say is that they do need to give more details on what to eat after your surgery, alittle more information would be helpful and to alert people about different web sites that are available to us to help us out. My first post-op appointment was just last week and I found it to be very helpful. A few days afterwards I ended up with some problems and she kept in touch with me by phone on a daily basics for a few days to make sure I was eating, etc. Not many doctors would do that today. Her and her staff explained everything about the surgery beforehand. She requies you to attend group sessions before you can have surgery which was very helpful because you could ask questions and meet other people who were going to have the surgery. I rate her and her staff A+. Her surgical competence and bedside matter were the greatest...couldn't be any better!"
