This is me, Chyrl, still ticking post-op! I had a great surgery, great nurses, my surgeon really does good work! I had a little nausea in Recovery, at least I remember muttering something about it. By the time I was really awake and in my room, I felt better. I had minimal pain, much less than my lap gallbladder surgery. Thank you, everyone on this site who advised walking ASAP. It's really worked for me. People (including doctors and nurses) keep telling me I don't look like I just had major surgery. I feel really great. I think the hardest part is just beginning, figuring out what to eat. I already tried an EAS Carb Control shake and it went down fine, just took an hour to drink. Thanks for everyone's prayers and best wishes. I got home to find several emails from members encouraging me. It really helps.

Best wishes for a pain free post op period and a speedy recovery. Be patient - the first two weeks are difficult. After that each day gets better and better. Keep us posted on your progress. Carol

Wishing you the best on your upcoming surgery. There are alot of great people here for support, so lean on them if you need anything. We will help out any way we can. Excited for you & your journey ahead. Things can be "different" at times and there are questions of what to do, why that happened... just know that you will be losing weight & experiencing a whole new life. Be patient, be aware & follow the rules & you will do great.. drink that water, it is a major key! Best wishes.
