I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Hi everyone!! I'm home and feeling great!! We didn't get out of the hospital until close to 7:00pm which was scary due to the blackout (yes... my hospital was affected by the blackout!) This put me at getting home a little after 9:00 pm. My hubby just gave me my shot and went to pick up the kiddos. Thanks to everyone for your prayers! My surgery went a little more difficult than Dr. Sapala planned because I'm apparently one of those people who are not just fat on the outside, but also fat on the inside!! I had fat stores all around my stomach and esophagus (pretty rare) which made it a little more difficult to perform the procedure. Therefore I had to have the NG tube one more day and go without those wonderful popsicles one more day. I finally had one today at about 2 pm (right after the NG tube was removed!) I wouldn't have gone home today if it weren't for my determination to walk and get better. I did about 20 laps around our floor today and feel just great. Even sitting at this computer isn't bothering me that much! Well... that's enough of an update for now. I'll check back in tomorrow evening to see what all of my fellow AMOS members have been up to! Take care all! Joy
