Thank you everyone!!! Michele here... I didn't have just one angel so I am giving my own update. I feel like I had hundreds of angels with all the support my online buddies gave me! I came through with flying colors - very little pain - eating fine (liquids until the 12th) and walking alot. Dr Tanaka is amazing! He removed an old gallbladder scar and made a nice neat scar using sutures as I am allergic to steri-strips. Other than itching like the dickens - I almost feel as good as new. AND here's the best news - 12 pounds thinner in 7 days!!!!!!! This is the best choice I have ever made! Praise God and thank you all for your prayers.

Michele - I'm saying a prayer for you, but you wont need it. I had Dr. Tanaka perform my RNY on 12-10 and he is the best. Do what the nurses and of course Dr. Tanaka tell you. Walk as much as you can around the hospital. I know it really helped me get out of there fast. Good luck. Dick
