Hi I am back home now from my surgery on the 1st. I am doing good so far. My stomach still feels pretty sore and bloated though. I have been taken my pain medicine every 5 or 6 hrs to keep the pain down. My kids have been taking turns helping me out here at home. Will post more later when I can sit on the computer longer. I was able to get the lap surgery. Six small incisions. On liquids only for the next 2 weeks now.

I talked to One of her daughters and she said that Laurie is still in recovery, they haven't transfered her to a regular room yet, but that she is doing ok at this time. She also said that they would be visiting her today. I will call again tonight to find out the statis of their visit, and post about it later.

Laurie, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
