"Dr. Husted seemed very all business, matter-of-fact in the pre-consultation seminar. His nurse conducted the first part of the seminar, then he came in and told of the three types of surgery he preforms. Then his nurse went over diets, etc. Then Dr. Husted came in and did a question and answer time. Next was my consultation visit. Front office conducting to the point business. Janet knew exactly what I needed to update my pre-approval and discussed other money issues to the point without any sugar coating. I really appreciated that, so I have a good idea what my out-of-pocket expenses will be. Dr. Husted's nurse, Jamie, is wonderful....She is a kind person that seemed to know just what to say to reduce my anxiety (and my self-loathing). Dr. Husted was great! Not only did he discuss my reasons for wanting surgery (which are mobility and health issues), we discussed future plans I had and which surgery would best meet those needs. I was sold on the Fobi Pouch Type Gastric Bypass. But, quite patiently Dr. Husted told me why he felt I was I candidate for the Biliopancreatic Diversion with Doudenal Switch. After a good amount of time I under-stood the long terms pros and cons of both surgeries. I trust this doctor totally!!! My surgery date is June 3, 2002!!!!!!!I will update as soon as I can get back to a computer."
