Hi everybody. If you'll notice by my leaving my first post blank, yes I am taking lortab!!!!!!! I am feeling pretty good. Just a little sore. I got home on Saturday around noon. I have been fine. Ritz Crackers have been good, so has chicken broth, before surgery, I hated chicken broth. My family has been wonderful. I am refusing to get on the scale, because it's not about my weight, it's about how I feel. I am not saying this because it is politically correct, I am saying this because it's true. I want my almost 3 year old to have to rest more than I do, and that's asking alot. For those of you going into surgery, don't drink apple juice, no matter what they say. It made me HURT! Cranberry juice, I didn't like it before surgery either, and crystal light are great. I was tempted today with birthday cake for my father in law, but it really didn't even look good. I think I am going crazy! I only take the lortab at night and I am making it through the day pretty easily. The hiccups and the fear of sneezing keep me very close to my pillow. Thanks to all of you. You have been so wonderful through this whole ordeal. I very much appreciate you. Talk to you soon.

I saw Angie this afternoon and she is doing great. Her surgery went fine and she passed her leak test this morning and is already sipping on juice. She said she felt really good except for a little pain on her left side. She will most likely be released in the morning. So everyone get out your happy faces and go to her page and wish her well and CONGRATULATIONS. We are Proud of you Angie.
