Robert Shin

"~My first impression of Dr. Shin was that he was a very caring and sensitive doctor. rn~My impression really hasn't changed he has been great explaining everything to me and also my family when I was in the hospital recovering. rn~I had a bit of a falling out with the office staff but it was a mere misunderstanding of certain things overall I think they are great and are very caring as well.rn~I don't know of anything that I didn't like he was absolutely wonderful like I said above.rn~For future patients its important to keep in mind that he does explain the bad as well as the good and if you truly are dedicated to having this procedure you really need to stick in there and do what he says.rn~Aftercare was explained to me as being the most important part to do what I'm suppose to do and to let him know if something seems even a little off.rn~He does have a structured aftercare program and it was all explained in detail to me before I went in for surgery and when I came out.rn~The risk of surgery was very well explained to me and not just once but over and over again I do appreciate having been warned of everything that might or could go wrong.rn~Dr. Shin in my opinion is one of the best doctors around this area and definitely leads in WLS he is a great doctor.rn~Both surgical competence and bedside manner were great."

"I love this hospital and not just because I work here but I work here because it is such a great hospital system. I haven't ever seen such caring nurses and assistive staff."
