It's been a long time

It's been a long time since I've posted but I've been doing extremely well.  I am down to 154lbs. and still feeling great.  I am keeping up with my exercise and watching my caloric intake very carefully.  I still have about 15 more lbs. to lose but I am pleased with my size.

I am doing wonderful and still holding between 159 and 161.  I feel great and have come off my high blood pressure meds in less than a year!!!  I met a wonderful man and am having the time of my life with him and enjoying the new found me.  I could not ask for things to be better than they are now and I don't regret taking this step in my life.  I have about 19 lbs. to go until goal and know that within the next 2-3 months that will be gone!  Until next time.....

I just wanted to stop in and post a quick update since it's been so long.  I am down to 159 lbs. with only 19 lbs. to go to my goal weight!!!  I feel great and am so happy with the new me.  It has definitely been a huge transition to deal with but I wouldn't change it for the world.  I am still exercising but I have slowed it down quite a bit and I am now doing o sit-ups and push ups daily.  Hope everyone is doing great and until next time, lets keep losing!

Well I haven't posted in some time now, but as of today, in my 9th month, I am down to 168 lbs. and have officially lost 100 lbs.!!  It's a great feeling, although I would like to wear my clothes a little longer than a couple of months.  Everything is going well and I wouldn't change anything for this decision.  I hope everyone is doing well in their weight loss journey and until next time, keep up the losing!!!

Well I have not posted in some time now.  Things are going well and I am super pleased with the results.  I am down to 174 lbs. at the end of the 6th month.  I am still working out at least 5 days a week and drinking lots of water.  I feel great for the most part and I would not change a thing!  I started a new job and that is going great and I love the fact that I am a new person (physically and mentally).  I am still being careful to eat the right foods and not eat more than I should.  Anyway, until next time....I will keep losing.

Just wanted to drop in and say that I am doing extremely well.  I am pleased with my progress and I am continuing to do my in-home walking 6 days a week.  It gets a little difficult with keeping a decent wardrobe, everytime I buy something it's too big within a a few weeks.  But thats alright because at least its for a good reason.  Until next time....

I haven't posted in a while but I've been doing absolutely wonderful!  I had my 3 month appt. yesterday and was told that I should be using my initial weight and not my weight at surgery as a measure of success so I have changed my ticker to reflect that.  That also means that I am a few lbs. closer to the 100 lbs. lost in 6 months!

I am staying very active, working out 6 days and week and still drinking tons of water.  I feel great and my PCP dr. took me off my cholesterol meds with the BP medicine on its way out the door as well.  I wouldn't trade this decision for anything in the world!  Just one bad habit I've picked up and that's jumping on and off the scale 2 or 3 times a day.  I am working really hard to stop doing that.....I know, I know it's not good, but anyway until next time, I WILL keep losing!

Weeks 11 & 12

The last 2 weeks have been good.  I lost 5 lbs. in week 11 and 2 in week 12 which makes me 3 months out!!!  I have been finding that my appetite is diminishing.  I drink alot of water and I think because my pouch is always full with water, I don't have the desire to eat.  I am doing the best I can with it though.  I'm still working out 6 days a week (2x a day 3 days a week) and pushing really hard towards 100lbs. lost in 6 months.  Well this is the begininng of month 4, so may the losing continue!!!


Weeks 9 & 10

I have been doing well and am pleased with the results.  I lost 3 lbs. in week 9 and 2 lbs. in week 10.  I am exercising 6 days a week and drinking alot of water.  I feel great each day and have no regrets.  I am thankful each day that God has allowed me to experience this life changing event and continue to transform into the person that He would have me to be.  I am focusing on maintaining a positive attitude and living each day to its fullest.

I lost 2 lbs. in week 7 and 3 lbs. in week 8 for a total of 7 lbs. in month 2 and a total of 34 lbs. lost since surgery.  I must say that I have started drinking alot more water and I have incorporated Walk Away the Pounds into my exercise routine.  It is an excellent walking tape that you can do rain or shine and especially in all this cold weather!  I am hoping to lose more in month 3 and hopefully not encounter any stalls.  Good luck to everyone and I thank God for my wonderful progress so far!
