RaeAnn: I am one week post op tomorrow (8/15) and want to tell you it is not near as bad as I thought. I am doing so well that I almost went to church this morning but decided not to cause I really wanted some alone time. I can say my prayers and give my thanks in private for such a blessing in this surgery and a easy recovery. This time two weeks from now you'll be saying the same thing. I start my vitamines and protein drink tomorrow and if I can manage that I will feel like I have come a long way.
I really had no trouble whatsoever and have had no pain meds since leaving the hospital. I had the lap procedure which is much easier than the three c sections I had years ago. Everyone is different and my pain threshold is pretty high but I even amazed myself. I know you will too and I am praying for you and will continue to. Good luck and God's blessings, Arlene
