Allison, I am sorry to hear about your mother. I will pray for her to go peacefully. We all need our mothers and I hope you can have some closure. God bless.

Allison - My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I went through the death of my estranged father without ever knowing if he really loved me, wanted me, or cared for me. I learned after his death that he just couldn't express his love because he was never shown love when he was growing up. Even though this weekend will be difficult, feel blessed that you have this time for closure. Hugs.

Allison, words escape me right now for you in your time of need. I know wholeheartedly what it is like to lose a mother. I know the pain and sorrow that goes along with a mother suffering from cancer all over her body. I can only feel your deepest pain and have empathy with that. I will pray for your acceptance, your strength and courage to be able to deal with the road ahead of you. I will pray that your mother not suffer and that God may give her an easy transistion. Lord, please come now and wrap your healing hands around these two beautiful people in their time of need. May their sorrow not be great, may your love overtake them. Allison let me know if there is anything I can do for you. God bless you.

Allison, Thank you so much for sharing your "I Am The Fat Woman" with the AMOS family. I can truly relate - been there, done that, got the 3X tee shirt to prove it! I also really enjoyed "On Angels Wings". It is so lovely adn soothed my heart so. May the light of God surround you, the love of God enfold you, the power of God protect you, and the presence of God watch over you. Wherever you are, God is and all is well. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you successfully journey to the losing side. Abundant blessings,

Allison, Thank you for sharing the "fat lady" poem on your page. I am an operating room nurse, and I am sad to say that I have had my share of confrontations with surgeons who have made nasty fat comments about their patients. Some make no effort at all to mask their prejudice and ignorance. Why did some of these people get into medicine? Thank god for the gastric bypass surgeons...especially those that really care about making a difference in our lives and not just the money.

Oh my goodness...I just read your writings on your profile. You are EXTREMELY talented! I too write poems but have mostly done it as gifts to family members and friends. You, my lady, have quite a gift there. I wish you all the luck in the world and know that you probably won't need it much though. You truly have Angels working on your behalf. Kelly
